I am the author/copyright holder. Why is my article available for sale on your website?
Articles for which electronic full text is available from Greenleaf Publishing are online because we have secured all necessary rights to make these documents available to our users. Queries on all copyright matters relating to Greenleaf Publishing books and journals should be sent here.

How do I obtain permission to reprint articles on the Greenleaf Publishing website?
Contact us here.

Who do I contact to discuss licensing foreign rights for one of Greenleaf Publishing’s books?
Contact us here here.

Am I allowed to share Greenleaf Publishing articles or email alerts?
If the content is free, yes. This site has many free PDF downloads and these are freely available to share. However, your use of articles under the terms of an electronic subscription or paid-for downloads is restricted by your agreement with Greenleaf Publishing and may not be shared. Your use of PDF downloads purchased directly from Greenleaf Publishing is governed by copyright law, which prohibits unauthorised copying, distribution, public display, public performance, and preparation of derivative works.
You may freely redistribute email alerts received via Greenleaf Publishing's alerting service.

How do I find the journal or book I'm looking for on the Greenleaf Publishing site?
Each of our journals has a link on the main menu. Specific issues can be located from within each journal’s mini-site.
There are several ways to search for books on the Greenleaf Publishing website. Choose ‘Advanced search’ on the top menu or 'Bookshop' --> ‘Search bookshop’ on the main menu. Using this you can: search by author, title, ISBN or keyword (the ‘keyword’ option will also display digital products) (option 1); search by category from the drop-down list (option 2); or browse all titles chronologically (most recent first) (option 3). You can also view the latest titles by choosing 'What’s new' from the main menu; or view forthcoming titles by choosing ‘Forthcoming’ from the main menu.

How do I search for an article in PDF format?
To search for PDF journal articles or book chapters (pay per view/download), go to the PDF shop (on the 'Bookshop' menu) and use the search function (search by author, title or keyword). You can also browse by looking in the Tables of Contents of the relveant book or journal issue. Free PDF chapters and articles are available throughout the site; these will not appear among the search results but can be downloaded by viewing the Table of Contents of the relevant publication.

What subject classification do you use ?
As sustainability and its relationship to business has developed from an initial focus on the environment, to social and economic issues, we have found it useful to classify titles quite specifically. This is a bespoke classification to enable easier navigation for users interested in specific topics such as environmental accounting, climate change, codes of conduct, etc. and is not related to bibliographic systems such as the Library of Congress.

How do I download an electronic article?
Articles are available in PDF format only. You will need Adobe Reader version 6 or later. Once you have found an article you want ('PDF Shop' on the 'Bookshop' menu), click the "Buy now' button and follow the instructions: you will be taken through a standard shopping basket process.  If the article is free, you will see a 'Download' button next to the article. Simply click to download (or view in your browser, depending on your browser’s settings).

I can't see a PDF download link. Why not?
Not all book chapters are available in PDF format. Those chapters and articles that are available to buy have a "Buy now" button next to them. Free-to-download chapters and articles have a "Download" button next to them.

Why is my article taking such a long time to download?
At busy times we have a large number of users on the site and this may occasionally mean that download times are slightly slower. If your download is extremely slow, then please retry later. PDF sizes vary depending on the length of the article and the number of graphics it contains. Be aware that some PDFs, particularly those incorporating high-resolution graphics, can be quite large so may take a while to download from our servers. If you have persistent problems with downloading a large PDF article, then please contact us here .

My PDF won't open/display, what should I do?
First check that you're using a recent version of the Adobe Reader software, which is freely available from the Adobe site. You need to use version 6 or later. If, after upgrading your PDF viewer, you are still having problems displaying a PDF article, then please contact us here .

How do I access the PDF I just purchased?
At the end of the shopping cart process you will be presented with a confirmation page. This will contain a link to "My account". Your confirmation email will contain the same link. Alternatively, you can access your account using the top menu. When you visit your account page, you will see a list of all the pay-per-view PDFs you are eligible to download. They are available to download from the site for up to seven days after purchase. Simply click the 'Download' button to download (or view in your browser, depending on your browser’s settings).

How do I purchase books, journals and electronic content from the Greenleaf Publishing website?
The Greenleaf Publishing website is fully secure and we can take payment by all major credit/debit cards. The site uses a familiar shopping basket system. To buy any item, you need to register as a user by creating an account. You will need to enter your email address and select a password. You will be invited to register when you go to our checkout to make a purchase. Then log in every time you revisit our site to make a purchase.

Can I purchase individual articles?
Yes. All of our journal content and the chapters of many of our books are available as pay-per-view articles in PDF format. The price of the article is displayed below the title and is usually GBP5.00/EUR8.00/USD10.00 per download.

How do I purchase an article?
All electronic downloads can be accessed from the PDF shop. When you find an article you want, add it to your shopping basket by clicking the 'Buy now' button. If you not already logged in to the site, you will be invited to do so when you go to the checkout. First-time buyers will need to register. Articles can be purchased using a credit or debit card. We accept the following credit cards: Amex, Maestro UK (Switch), MasterCard, Visa.

Why am I charged VAT when I buy an article?
We are obliged to charge VAT at the local UK rate of 17.5% on electronic downloads if the customer is based in the UK, or is an individual in the EU. If you are a company in the EU, you will be asked to enter a valid VAT number during the checkout process. VAT will not then be charged. Customers outside of the EU are not charged VAT.

I don't use credit cards. How can I pay for an article, journal or book?
We offer a pro-forma invoice service for books and journals. If you choose this option, a pro-forma invoice will be sent to you via fax or email (as a PDF file). To ensure that the invoice is not blocked by your spam filter, please add 'sales@greenleaf-publishing.com' to your address book. Unfortunately, we cannot provide pro-forma invoices for electronic downloads of articles. These must be pre-paid by credit/debit card.

Can I purchase an entire issue?
Yes, most issues of Greener Management International and alll of AccountAbility Forum are available to buy as single issues. All theme issues of The Journal of Corporate Citizenship are also available to buy as single issues. To buy single issues, you can browse 'View/buy issues' in each journal’s mini-site. All issues of AccountAbility Forum are also available to buy in full as PDFs. These can be accessed by going to the product page of the issue you are interested in ('View/buy issues') and looking above the Table of Contents.

I want to delete an item from my shopping basket
Click on the large 'x' to the right of the item you want to delete, then click on 'Update Qty'.

Why am I being charged postage for a digital download?
It may be because you have deleted a physical product from your shopping basket. Click the "Update Qty" button.
